In the heart of London, Holy House Church stands as a vibrant Spanish Christian church in London dedicated to sharing the hope of the Gospel, creating a safe space for families, and building a strong community of faith. As proud members of the Evangelical Alliance, we believe that together we can make Jesus known more effectively—through listening, praying, and sharing with one another.
United for Mission and Voice
First of all, unity is central to who we are. We bring people together across different backgrounds and experiences, knowing that the church is stronger when it stands as one. Recently, by joining the Evangelical Alliance, we have stepped into the largest unity faith grouping in the UK. This partnership not only strengthens our mission but also amplifies our voice in a society that is rapidly secularising.
Moreover, being part of the Alliance enables us to speak for Christian values in public life. This involves regular engagement with civil servants and ministers, ensuring that the Christian perspective remains present in national conversations. In this way, Holy House serves not only as a spiritual home but also as a representative voice for faith in the public square.
Inclusion and Belonging for All Families
Equally important is our commitment to inclusion. Many families have found church life challenging—some even less than welcoming. For that reason, we are working to change how church is experienced, especially for families with children who have additional needs or disabilities.
At Holy House, no one is turned away. Whether someone has a different faith, no faith, or does not identify as an ‘Evangelical’ Christian, they can still find a place of belonging here. This openness reflects the heart of the Gospel: to welcome, to support, and to love without barriers.
Inspired by “Better Together”
One of the reasons we became members of the Evangelical Alliance is because we believe in the phrase: “better together.” By being part of something bigger, we can achieve more, support more, advocate more, and listen more. This wider collaboration allows us to amplify our voice in a busy world where the inclusion of additional needs and disabilities can often be overlooked.
Furthermore, many Christians are not fully aware of the advocacy work the Alliance does—speaking out on behalf of countless people and creating meaningful change in society. By uniting with them, Holy House not only strengthens its mission but also contributes to a broader movement of transformation across the UK.
A Place of Hope and Support
Ultimately, Holy House exists to create a place where people can speak together as one voice, worship God in unity, and serve the community with compassion. As a Spanish Christian church in London, we are honoured to provide both a cultural and spiritual home where faith is nurtured and lives are touched by the message of Jesus Christ.
We believe that together we are stronger. Together, we can build a church that welcomes, a community that supports, and a movement that inspires.
